The fact remains that dock jumping is far and away this girl's favorite event. Bailey's one year old little (85 lb.) brother, The Captain isn't quite ready to jump off the dock just yet.

Jasper is a four and a half year old Black Lab/Australian Shepherd mix handled by Julie Hatch. Jasper started jumping June of 2009 and was instantly hooked. Jasper loves anything that has to do with fetching, jumping and catching a ball, a Woobie, or even his rawhide bone! He goes all out when he jumps, leaving nothing on the dock. When we get him to wait long enough for his mom to get set to give a good toss we will most certainly see some incredible jumps from this boy! Jasper loves his big brother Paxton, a five and a half year old Yellow Lab.

Rekker "Screaming Blue Dog" is a 2 year old Dutch Shepherd handled by Sonja Nordstrom. His first exposure to dock diving was at the 2009 Soldier Hollow Dock Jumping Classic where he ended the competition jumping over 19'. At his second event Rekker was jumping in the extreme range (over 23') demonstrating that he's a force to be "reckoned" with. Rekker also trains and competes in French Ring and Mondio Ring, the most challenging and demanding of the protection/obedience sports. He is also training for Human Remains Detection and will follow in the pawsteps of his canine parents. If Rekker could talk we're betting that he'd say his favorite event of all is dock diving!
Update: Rekker became the Pro Champion by taking 1st at the Splash Dogs World Championships with an amazing PB jump of 25'!

Dory is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon handled by Cathy Hatch. The initial thought when they got Dory was that she would make an excellent falconry hunting dog for Kevin, Cathy's husband. However Dory was afraid of the bird and moved on to being a companion dog. No matter whether we are do agility, obedience, hunt tests, field trials, dock events, or just hanging out this dog will stop doing whatever it is to tell me my blood glucose if off. I have had some amazing dogs but Bravo is my heart dog!"
WEBAD couldn't agree more.
